比赛在第11分钟，日本队率先打破场上僵局。伊东纯也传中，王燊超回防时手臂抬起来碰到球，主裁判果断判12码罚球，大迫勇也主罚，助跑后右脚推射，颜骏凌碰到球但无法阻挡球入网。
在第46分钟，日本队继续进攻，伊东纯也杀到底线，皮球是被朱辰杰挡出了底线，日本队右侧战术角球开出，蒿俊闵大脚把球解围。
在第61分钟，日本队再度进球，中山雄太一脚传中球到了小禁区前沿，中国队后卫漏人，朱辰杰前点没顶到，后点郑铮没看住，中路伊东纯也直接头球攻门得手，日本2比0。
