阿斯顿维拉提出租借库蒂尼奥半个赛季，将承担库蒂尼奥的部分薪水，具体的数目是800万欧元。据《每日体育报》报道，如果维拉赛季结束后想要买断库蒂尼奥，那要支付4000万欧元转会费。
巴塞罗那日前从曼市引进西班牙国脚费兰托雷斯；但是却受限于球队薪资结构超过上限而急于清洗冗员，除了此前曾被租借给拜仁慕尼黑的库蒂尼奥，法国后卫乌姆蒂蒂转战英超为纽卡斯尔效力也在运作中。
