（吉隆坡5日讯）在中国、泰国和中华台北缺战，日本、印尼和韩国多名主力战将都挂休战牌的情况下，大马羽总要年轻球员在本月挥拍的亚洲羽球团体赛（2月15日至20日）把握机会。

据悉，印尼男单靳汀和约纳坦、头号男双凯文与基迪翁，日本头号男单桃田贤斗、新科男双世界冠军小林优吾与保木卓朗，以及韩国女单安洗莹等名将届时都不会参赛。

因此主场作战的大马应该把握机会，放眼男女队都跻身4强，取得今年5月曼谷汤尤杯决赛圈的资格。

羽总单打教练总监黄综翰说：“我们知道其他参与的国家也派出了二线阵容，亚洲团体赛向来都是让年轻球员曝光的好舞台，其他国家也是如此。”

“现在我不想多说，但我们只能凭成绩直接取得汤尤杯决赛圈的参赛资格，这意味著我们必须至少晋级半决赛。”

大马男队上届在不被看好的情况下，打进决赛才以1比3输给印尼，展望这次的比赛，黄综翰表示，会寄望年轻球员如黄智勇、梁峻豪、艾迪尔、林忠庆和20岁的郭景宏挺身而出，并以此为动力，在各自职业生涯更进一步。近期转为自由人的世界第7李梓嘉将是大马第一男单。

黄综翰说：“我相信对这些年轻球员来说，信息很简单。我们为每个人提供平等机会，现在黄智勇已证明，只要努力并保持专注，你就可以做到。我希望其他球员也能以此为动力，证明自己的价值。”

亚洲团体赛的抽签将于周二进行。
