元宵节亚羽团体赛挥拍 大马阔别2年再办国际赛

（吉隆坡27日讯）作为汤尤杯决赛圈亚洲区入选赛的亚洲羽球团体赛，将会在今年2月15至20日，在雪州莎阿南实达会展中心开战！

这是继2018年亚罗士打后，马来西亚再度成为亚洲团体赛的主办国，而且也是大马阔别2年再度举办国际羽球赛。

赛事推介礼今日在双威度假酒店进行，出席者包括亚洲羽协总营运长苏赞文、大马羽总秘书拿督吴志强、雪州青体部和人力资本发展事务行政议员凯鲁丁、雪州体育理事会执行总监莫哈末尼詹，以及RSM体育有限公司董事经理维努。

凯鲁丁在推介礼上表示：“新冠疫情之下体育也受到影响，这次雪州很幸运能够获得主办权，也是雪州首次举办亚锦赛，希望能够带动国内体坛。”

亚洲羽协总营运长苏赞文指出，疫情影响的2年间，亚洲团体赛再次重返球迷的眼帘；截至1月18日，这一届赛会共有10个国家报名参赛，争取汤尤杯决赛圈的参赛资格。

据了解，这10个国家和地区分别是日本、印尼、韩国、香港、新加坡、印度、中华台北、泰国、哈萨克和马来西亚；其中印尼男队和日本女队是上届冠军。

“这些赛事得到雪州政府的支持主办，迎来外国球队的参与，还准备国外球队的隔离酒店。比赛也会依据相关标准作业程序，届时等候卫生部的最新指南，包括允许观众入场人数等。”

“中国缺席这一届赛会，因为他们防疫措施非常严格，依旧采取21天的隔离政策，因此不会派队参赛。”

吴志强在推介礼指出，大马近2年未能举办比赛，随著亚洲团体赛将在2月举行，也期待为今年取得好的开始。
