吉隆坡30日讯）武装部队已准备就绪面对次波水灾来袭，并将调派近3000人员和各类资源前往全国86个地区，以协助国家天灾管理机构的救灾行动。

高级政务部长（国防部）拿督斯里希山慕丁指出，武装部队与国防部都非常重视和紧跟气象局的预测，当局预测数州在12月29日至1月6日面临持续性大雨，并有可能面对第二波水灾。

“这些州属包括吉兰丹、登嘉楼、彭亨、柔佛、沙巴和砂拉越。

“对此，我已指示武装部队总司令，确保进行最高级别的准备工作，随时调派人员和资源前往救灾。”

另一方面，希山慕丁也披露，国防部联合5家私人公司，一共筹得总值370万令吉的水灾援助，这些援助包括现金和日常需求用品。
