（北赖1日訊）虎年第一槍！前科累累的本地男子疑被尋仇，除夕夜遭12枪夺命。

警方初步调查，不排除枪手至少2人；而不幸中枪身亡的31岁死者，是警方通缉犯，拥有多项犯罪前科，警方因此相信此案动机与寻仇有关。

此案是昨晚8时许，在槟城北赖峇鲁路豪华公寓的3楼泊车场发生；这也是新年伊始的第一宗枪杀案。

槟州总警长拿督苏海里披露，警方在案发现场寻获12枚弹壳，相信凶手至少开出12枪夺走死者性命。

“警方感到案发现场时，死者已倒在血泊中，初步调查相信凶手有2人。”

他也说，死者5个月前才租下案发现场的公寓单位，由于死者前科累累，警方怀疑此案与私人恩怨有关。

威中警区主任沙菲益助理总监受访时指出，枪击案于昨晚约9时发生，死者是一名31岁的印裔男子。

“涉案者是4名印裔男子，警方正在追查嫌犯的下落。”

沙菲益较后发文告指出，据警方现场调查，死者是被分乘两辆摩哆的2名枪手枪击。

“据警方记录，死者共有11项罪案前科，其中4项是被警方通缉。”

他呼吁目睹此案发生或了解有关案件的人士，挺身而出协助警方调查。

他说，警方仍在调查此案，并援引刑事法典第302条文（谋杀），展开调查。
