西渡半岛没乖离初衷 沙菲益:提供选民另一个选择

（亚庇29日讯）沙巴民兴党主席拿督斯里沙菲益阿达驳斥文那纳州议员拿督彼得安东尼的指控，并否认西渡半岛的该党，已乖离最初的斗争。

沙菲益阿达在文告中指出，西渡半岛的决定获得该党最高理事会的支持，并于本月12日召开的代表大会得到全体最高理事及党员支持通过。

“扩大民兴党到大马半岛的决定，是为全国选民提供另一个选择。”

也是民兴党副主席的彼得安东尼昨日宣布退党，并指原本捍卫沙巴人民的民兴党在扩大版图至半岛后，已乖离初衷。他退党后将成立新政党，与领导州政府的沙巴人民联盟合作。

针对彼得安东尼退党一事，沙菲益指出，这不令人惊讶，因为对方曾表达此意愿，但对于指责民兴党乖离斗争是不正确的。
